Is it worth paying 55 bucks for a controller that shakes? Does it really add that much to the experience? I don't even work for the money I spend (ergo, I spend quite frivolously) and I still won't bother buying one of these.

It's only five more dollars than the six axis and 360 wireless controller. I don't see the issue with that. Anyways, the price for the contoller on all the systems are expensive.

I think the Wii will start to pick up it's run after Smash Bros. Brawl is released, and shortly after that comes Mario Kart Wii. Also, next month is when the WiiWare will start to be released, so I think it's going to start picking up rather quickly and pretty soon.

I doubt that. Even though I have a Wii and play it constanly, there are only four first party games that are coming out this year from Nintendo. That's an incredibly short number, especially since WiiFit still doesn't have a solid release date, the same goes with Mario Kart. For the most part, there still is a huge lack of good 3rd party games.

Anyways, No More Heroes is the best. Hope everyone has played it.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village

One of the best things that has happened to the DS.
Feb 19, 2008, 11:01:29AM, Lost Oddesey user impressions
I've played a couple of hours. It's fun, especially if you're a fan of JRPGS. People have been to critical about the game. I defenitatly like the rings and the graphics are amazing. There was a lot of detail put into it. In the begining of the game, there are some hot spots on the ground because of lava and your character takes damage. It's a small thing, but I just liked the detail they put in. The voice acting is average for the most part (for the moment being anways). Some characters are really well done. The fact that people have complained about a loading screen is bull. It's not very long, especially if you've played Mass Effect. However, a complaint that may be valid is the text. When Kaim remembers his memories, it's all text. Depending on how fast you read it, it could take around 10 minutes. I would of prefered if it was in FMV. I wouldn't want the text to be read, though, because the voice acting could of killed it.

In other words, it's a good game. Go get it.
Feb 13, 2008, 10:27:28PM, PS3 worth it?
Really comes down to what you like.

PS3 has more of a Japanese influence (obviously) while the 360 is more Americanized and tends to have that American taste.

Only thing I use my PS3 for is exclusives. The controller for the 360 is superior to the sixaxis when it comes down to shooters. Not to mention the sixaxis has never had anything good going for it.

Not unless you've played the other RE games. If you have, it's enjoyable. Rent it and see from there.
Feb 12, 2008, 1:57:07PM, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
It's my friends new obsession. I've played online with him (not my copy) and it's amazing, if it wasn't for Lost Odyssey I'd buy it. If yer a fan of the other ones you'll hands down like this one.
I didn't even bother with the game nor did I care that the Live service was down. Only thing I play is Halo3 and COD4, and thats only for a bit. There are too many good games for the Xbox right now that distrack me from Live.

As for the PSN, nothing is ever free. Someone is paying for it somehow, and I'm sure its the constant blitz of games they want you to buy among other things. Plus, the service isn't as good as Live and often asks you too many unnecessary questions. The lack of a universal headset makes it so not many people talk, which can at times take the fun out of it (especially with Warhawk and I'm talking about all the people who bought the game at any store cause if comes with a flipping blue tooth). Not to mention that there isn't nearly as much PSN users as there is Live.

No More Heroes
It's all about The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Jan 31, 2008, 9:22:44AM, Brawl
I think the brawl might be good but its hard to tell really what it will do. i MEAN WITH EVERYONE LIKing the wii and stuff i dont know

My brain is so clusterd by that remark I can't even think of what to say, besides that I dislike you with a passion.
Jan 30, 2008, 6:30:27PM, Brawl
I have to say I'm very disappointed with the character roster. I mean come on, R.O.B.? Jiggly Puff and Mr. Game and Watch? What the hell were they thinking? I want my damn Megaman.

Hey, Jiggly Puff and Mr. Game & Watch are fun characters to play with, plus I enjoy using Jiggly Puff because there is no other character more shameful to die from.

I'd never imagine for Megaman to show up in Brawl. Especially, since Capcom is trying to (for the most part) not be so third party exclusive as it use to be.
Jan 28, 2008, 6:06:13PM, Final Fantasy XIII Chronicles
Of course I´m excited for the new FF XIII games (and KH as well)
Crisis Core is going to be one hell of a game, although I´m a little tired of all the FF VII spin offs, movies, etc.
Don´t get me wrong, it IS a great game, but it´s a little bit too much in the spotlight in my opinion...

Yea I agree completely. It is a great game, it deserves SOME of the attention, but not all that it is getting. Only about 7 spinoffs. Seriously, let's get original here.

After twelve games and many spin offs, I believe originality has been completely lost. However, I've never been too much of a Final Fantasy fan. The name itself bugs me because it contradicts itself, but I do like Kingdom Hearts. Regardless, I am looking forward to FF VS.
Jan 28, 2008, 6:02:33PM, GTAIV
I'm tempted to pre-order the Special Edition, however, I've never liked GTA enough to ever buy the game at full price. I've always found the missions to be boring and I only find enjoyment in free roaming. I forgot which one I truly played, but I had to in order to go to new areas of the game.

Only reason I want the Special Edition is because I like collecting those type of things.
Jan 25, 2008, 11:29:27AM, No More Heros
Have the game.

One of the best games on the Wii. If you have a Wii, I don't understand why you don't have No More Heroes.

My only complaint is the fact of blood. The European and Japanese versions don't have nearly as much blood because when the common enemy dies, they're bodies turn into pixels and disappear. Instead you see a human fountain of blood. Normally, I wouldn't care, but the pixel style death seems more of the game's style rather than just massive amount blood. It's more of a personal complaint rather than a valid one.

Either way, game is amazing.
Jan 23, 2008, 10:23:05PM, Wii Release List Thru Feb. 11th
Brawl will be the best thing out for a long time.

As I said before, if you happen to live near a Gamestop or EB games, they can print you out a whole list of what is confirmed to come out for the entire year on any console. Or what is expected to come out on whatever date, which means you can also pre-order any game on that list. (Yeah I copied and pasted from another post, you want to fight about it?)

Jan 23, 2008, 10:17:16PM, Good news, Capcom Fans!!
Ugh...

It's being released on Thursday, as in the 24th.

That site was never from Capcom, despite what you may believe.
Jan 22, 2008, 3:28:00PM, Brawl Delayed
Well the Japan release is still in January, I believe it got delayed for about a week (not sure though), so it's obvious they're working out the bugs.
