I played City of heros and City of villians for about a year and a half. I started playing Lord of the rings online during the beta and have been playing it off and on since then. One that i'm really looking forward too is Stargate worlds which i beleive will be coming out in about a year.

I don't know why I forgot about stargate worlds. This will be awesome I think.

no one knows when it will come out, it is all hearsay, but i am getting really anxious, lol
the trailers look simply amazing, the new graphics are to die for and the campaign mode from what it looks like from the trailers look 50 times better than the previous games

I'll add that SC and the expansion were amazing. They still are. :D

I only play Guildwars, but thats because i;m too cheap to fork out for monthly subs. A friend of mine has really gotten into a game called Vanguard, does anyone else play this?

Vanguard was a total let down. Plus, SOE has something to do with the game. That's another big "negative". lol Just my opinion. :D

Yea, I was a die hard rebel. I mainly played for the PVP. The best time I ever had was defense stacking TKM/Pistols BH. Slaying jedi was the greatest. I remember group tefs. I got rocked a hand full of times attacking a jedi and their group coming just to get the TEF. The good old days. I still think the PVP system is better than any other game. Especially WoW's battlegrounds. It gets lame just doing the same old BG over and over and over. Flying into a starport Overt solo was awesome. Hell, while jedi pop avoid incap and kill a hand full of imps. That game still has a ton of qualities that make it great. Player cities, housing, item placement in houses, guild halls, graphics, etc... It just was not enough to keep everyone into the game. I mean, drastic combat changes like that hurt. I miss the doc buff lines in CNET. haha Those were some fun times just chatting away with everyone. The main thing about the game, was each server had its unique community. That's what totally made the game. I have yet to see that in any other MMO. That's my opinion.

Yes, it's sad. Very sad. I actually just closed my last account a couple of weeks ago. I only logged in maybe once a week to every 2 weeks for about 6 to 8 months. lol 4 Accounts down the drain.

I haven't really played this game since release. It didn't seem all that bad. I just didn't have any friends playing it. Plus, I was still big into SWG at that time. I never got around to getting into it.

I will never again give SOE any of my money. I've tried just about all of their games. I played SWG for over 3 years. If they were to revert their system back to the glory days of Pre-CU, I would consider it. I actually quit for 2 weeks when the CU came out. My friends begged me to give it a try. I decided to stick it out. In the end, the Combat Upgrade was not all that bad. The NGE is just trash. Now, it's nothing more than a buggy WoW with a Star Wars skin.

I think people should work on upload speeds for gaming. Damn you cox cable! You lairs you can't do gameing stuff for PCs! I I need to get a business account when ever I want to start a server for a game. >:-(

Get FIOS. I think it's a good price for the 15mbps/15mbps. Hell, all you need for gaming is a 3 to 4mbps connection.

Considering I live in Louisiana and practically have to float down the bayou and adjust the tin foil covered antenna.......my internet is horrid. I live in the middle of no where. 512kb down / 125kb up connection. The cable company is charging me 32.95 for this crap. Good thing I move in June.

I played for around two years, had a couple of breaks in between, got kinda bored near the end and after moving my priest and rogue back and forth a few times thinking new realms would make the game fun again i quit.

I may start again when WOTLK comes out, although i'm looking to give that Warhammer online game a go, Chaos Zealots and Dark elf disciples of Khaine look too appealing.

Hell yea! Warhammer Online looks promising. I hope it's not another let down MMO like most of the others.

Yea, I would rather see vcod maps converted over to CoD4. There was a dawnville map floating around on the CAL forums a while back. I'm not to sure what's going on with it now. From the looks at that time, it seemed to be very nice.
