That, I cannot deny. Yet, I think I'm in the few, but I did like Hitman.

Super Mario Brothers was amazing! ;) Oh yes, but there was always that epic first Mortal Combat, that was, as well, Amazing.

Without a doubt. There's no way they could bring everything from the Anime over into a live action.
Nov 10, 2008, 12:14:45PM, Ninja Scroll

Quite frankly one of the most reknowned Anime movies of all time, and one of the best in my opinion. Yet, I came across this news looking up info on the new Cowboy Bebop live action adapatation.

"First it was Akira, now it's Ninja Scroll, too. Leonardo DiCaprio's production company Appian Way will be producing a live-action adaptation of the classic anime movie for Warner Brothers. Screenwriter Alex Tse, who wrote Zack Snyder's upcoming Watchmen as well as Michael Mann's upcoming Frankie Machine, will be writing the script. No director has been announced yet, but considering Akira picked up a no-name director, I expect Ninja Scroll to probably do the same. At one point, it was rumored that James McTeigue's Ninja Assassin was a Ninja Scroll remake, but that was quickly debunked. Now it's actually happening."

"All your Faye Valentine fantasies are finally going to come true… if you have any at least! Following Akira and Ghost in the Shell announcements, apparently Cowboy Bebop is in for a live-action adaptation as well. IF Magazine talked with veteran producer Erwin Stoff (via AICN) and discovered that he's working on making a live-action Cowboy Bebop movie with Fox. Apparently it's very fresh news: "I'm really excited to be working on it, and it's in the really early stages. We just signed it the other day." If you're not so familiar with Bebop, it's an incredibly popular Japanese anime TV series that first aired back in 1998 and has become a hit here in the US as well as Japan. I'm not exactly a big fan myself, but considering Hollywood is caught up in the anime trend, I'm definitely excited to see this one come to life as well."

I'd still watch the Anime, as well. Still a lot darker then you'd expect to see, the only thing (as of now anyhow) that really sucks is how long we've been waiting for the continuation.

I'm voting for Mike being the wet taco that fell on Cleric's face.

"LittleBigPlanet Release Update
"Posted: 17 Oct 2008 01:18 PM CDT
"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense that this may have caused.

"We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th. Sorry for the delay, and rest assured, we are doing everything we can to get LittleBigPlanet to you as soon as possible."

Without a doubt, but with the simple Amount of games coming out in the next few weeks, this just means more time with the games I didn't think there was going to be time for. Still, though, you would think anything related to lyrics would be looked at BEFORE they are put in the game by the developers. So, I wouldn't necessarily blame it on Sony considering I guess it had some shit to do with the Qur'an, and I can't really blame them for not wanting to be associated with that.

DELAYED:

via: Destructoid's Jim Sterling

"Following the story that Sony has recalled LittleBigPlanet for fear of offending the Islamic gaming community, developer Media Molecule has spoken out on the situation. Stating they are "shellshocked and gutted" over this late delay, the team revealed that they wanted to patch the offending item, but Sony wouldn't let it happen.

'We learnt yesterday that there is a lyric in one of the licensed tracks which some people may find offensive, and which slipped through the usual screening processes. Obviously MM and Sony together took this very seriously. LBP should be enjoyable by all. So within 12 hours of hearing about this issue involving a lyric (in Somalian, I believe!), we prepared an automatic day 0 patch and had a new disk image ready; however a decision was made within Sony that the right thing to do for quality and support of people with no on-line was to replace existing disks. They assure us that they are doing everything in their power to get things straightened out as fast as possible, and will announce dates soon.'

"This whole debacle is very dismaying, and it's a shame that we as a society are so terrified of offending someone that huge upheavals like this have to happen. I just hope that LittleBigPlanet doesn't get overshadowed by this bottled controversy, as it is too ambitious a concept to be colored by such a ridiculous scenario.
All this over a few words. It's incredibly silly when you think about it."

I'm getting this game merely for the headset that comes with. I'll send an add your way, but I'll be playing mostly Dead Space until I get paid next week.

Who's Mike, and why the corner? Corners are so... crowded and right angled, there should at least be alcohol.

Anyone read the books by him? The SoT series. TV series directed by Sam Raimi premiers on Nov 1st and 2nd. Watch the videos and see the info at:

Most likely it'll be a bit on the iffy side, but due to how much I enjoyed the books I'm still all over it.

Some say the single most influential Anime in past years. Not to mention the movie being made soon (which hopefully does the wonderful series justice or I'll just be pissed). I have to pick up the single Movie that was made and watch that because I already own the series. Anyone agree?

An amazing single series Anime and an even more epic Manga in my opinion. I wish they would've continued on the series as an Anime, but the Manga continuing the series helps a bit, at least. I haven't looked it up, but anyone know why they discontinued the Anime series, or like the series?
