Fuck I love this game. Started playing it alot again, but kept failing due to complete sleep deprivation and being fucking drunk.

Currently popping fuckers in the face with an M16A4, prefer the red-dot sight to the Acog. Until I get above whatever rank I am (I think level 40. Could be wrong) and acquire something a little better I shall change.

Generally change weapons depending on the level tho. Nothing beats putting a sniper round between the eyes of any unsuspecting bastard... Except maybe a point-blank shotgun shell...

Haha, slight bias there, and I know that that statement is not 100% accurate (ResEvil4), but it's damn close I tell you!
Haven't bothered with a 360, have been tempted, but I usually blow my money on pc games or booze before I can decide either way (which in itself is a decision of sorts, alcohol is your friend).

You can play it on XP as well, a couple of my mates have a crack for it. Where they found it I know not, don't really care either, but can check if you want. If it really bothers you that much, apparently Falling Leaf Systems "will be providing compatibility software" for it to run, legitimately, on XP. (http://halo.bungie.org/news.html?item=18626)

Sarcasm aside, why did Bungie neglect in Halo3, the side-story they were building up behind the Elites (and the Arbiter) during Halo2?
Not saying I wanted to play as that mandibled bastard again, but so much of Halo2 revolves around it and yet it's barely mentioned in 3.
