It's also being released in a bundle. It comes with an 80GB PS3, and a Dualshock 3 controller. It will retail for $499.99

The DUALSHOCK 3 Controller will be released on April 15. This is the controller with rumble and motion-sending SIXAXIS technologies. The price on the thing is the only bad thing about it. It will retail for $54.99.

I thought I would post something about Metal Gear Solid Online (it was posted today on Kotaku).

In addition to announcing a ship date and hardware bundle for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, SCEA today revealed that a beta for the game's online component will happen before the June release. Metal Gear Online, as you may be aware, will be a separate release from the single player experience, but Metal Gear Solid 4 will come with a "starter pack" that will give gamers a taste of what to expect from the full version.

The multiplayer beta test for Metal Gear Online will kick off in April for those who pre-order the game. Run, do not walk, to your local retailer and bring a fiver with you.

Sony will be releasing a limited edition “Deep Red” PSP with Kratos silkscreened on the back, in June.

The limited edition PSP will retail for $199.99 and come with God of War: Chains of Olympus, Superbad on UMD video, and a voucher to download Syphon Filter: Combat Ops from the PLAYSTATION Store for free.

On June 12 (well most likely June 12), Sony will release a new 80 GB with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and a DUALSHOCK 3 controller. It will retail for $499.99 I said most likely June 12, as that's the official release date for Metal Gear Solid 4. It was announced today.
