Yo... I've had a similar problems and I think you could have a similar one...

First off my computer has a 6channel - 4channel (one imput) - and 2channel (two imput channels). After many different changes of OS and hardware in the computer I noticed that only the drivers that came with my preconstruct OS disk (usually a disk image backup of your os) had the ability to choose between them.

I only noticed this then because I somehow had gone wrong by installing new/updated drivers which were of generic support and disabled my function to choose or even see any other options.

Perhaps if you deleted your audio drivers and installed the ones that were shipped with your computer you would regain full functionality. Thats what I do, I even have to go against Windows Automatic Update's recomendation to update those drivers, there is a little checkbox to never ask for it again. Stupid less functional updates...

The background is a 3D fractal I made... my Rez is at 1280x1024.
I always put the start bar on the top, dunno why...
I do have multiple desktops, but I take the picture with only one screen due to the funny way the second monitor shows up, and lately I have been turning off my second screen so my poor Nvidia 5500FX OC doesn't choke on newer games :3

I want it to be less like halflife, and more like doom. Something that dissapointed me is that the tactical gameplay was too much on the, 'what did you learn from halflife' side instead of, 'what did you learn from doom2' type deal. I want to infiltrate rooms of zombies that own the place, i want to make the big ones fight the small ones, i want to watch the fights between deamons that i started, and go into another room and find a KEY! I WANT KEYS, i wanna go find the blue key to find the damn yellow one, so i can get my ass kicked trying to get the red one, and if i'm badass enough i'd live. I don't want to be led through a cutscene after cutscene scenerio. I don't want to be forced through a certain path. I want there to be secrets, and i'm ok with them being sorta halflifeish, as long as you can hunt for keys too. I wouldn't mind seeing old deamons.
It would be awesome if satan himself made bets with you if you could live, and owe you things >:) and you would own satan's soul by the end of the game Muahahahah!

No game took as much skill as the Descent series, and when it comes to the best fps action in any video game for that matter, i'd have to say Descent3 is my favorite online fps.

well as long as you're along those lines >.> :
There must be an interface where we can change colors and background colors like IRC chat, maybe Bold, Italics and underlines but no Text Size...! All chat must be same size, also if there was a PM system built in to the TB that also would be nice for not having to open more windows.
And of course there must be a Ignore function where it omits that annoying person being an AHOLE, and perhaps a friend system like the opposite, where it Makes all your friend's default color a certain value or maybe makes all your friends names Bold. And you can choose certain people on your Friend's list to be a 'VIP' color for those people on pwned you've grown to cling to or know in real life and have the need to talk to them more often.

It was about a week ago, we had this 'Chat with a Pro' session with 'zyz' with a real time chat. REAL TIME. Why isn't the Shoutbox like this? Seriously, I asked while we were chating, but people just lol'ed me and continued chating.
Pwned.com obviously has the technology and scripting to get it to work in an operational fashion, why not implament it? It pains me to see a chat type enviorment trying soo hard to work and knowing it doesn't have to be this way...
And... I'm not saying do away with the ShoutBox entirely. Keep it, we just need a TalkBox or something to goto when we don't want to wait 24 seconds every time we would like to continue. So that people would goto SB and be like, come to TB if you wanna chat about monkeys and turtles!

Well, I have to strongly agree with you Kristalle, the SB is a horrible place to showcase our society's demenor. And as Neil said, half of them have never been introduced to the idea of community or maturity. Every now and then you'll find a good down to earth level minded person who actually is here for the games, but the SB is mostly used for chasing tail like myspace and talking smack because that is what most people are used to doing in game. Dominating. There will allways be this kind of people, we just need more mature people to make them feel out of place and silly for even trying to play shananigans.
However, I would rather talk Games in the SB or at least related subjects, there is this feeling of misuse when the SB becomes grounds for another Myspace related territory. I'm not here to intentionally make friends with just people, I want to meet gamers, and it should mostly be about the games around this site. If people just happen to have similar extended interests besides games, well thats great, but I'm here to meet the gamer in them, not their contribution to reality.

Aha... Now I get it... It would be cool if you could click on a game, and see a list of people who have it. Or see how many people ratio wise have it to don't, like 52% of people on Pwned.com have Halo3 or some crazy random statistics.

Also, I have noticed when searching games, and entering a string of information... The list will come up with the first page of information, but apon clicking the next page button, It resets! And you are brought to the home game page. So you are really only able to search games by the first page of results, the second-any other page resets the search.
