I'm currently running an 8800GT on this system, and I play COD4 at max settings everything and I get no hint of lag.
9600 is not the high end of the 9th gen its one of the mid range, but the 8800 is one of the high end cards for the 8th gen.

That's nice. I don't think I'd trust 1 drive to 1TB though.

same here, thats 1TB of data down the drain if your drive fails. And I bet sending that off to a data recovery lab will be expensive.
And no, mirroring a Terabyte drive isn't exactly a cost effective solution.

If you're still interested in getting a Phenom and have not bought one yet, go for their 9850, the 50 series is pretty damn impressive. There is a difference between the other Phenoms AMD has made and the 50 series. They actually yield rivaling results/benchmarks to Intel's Core 2 Quads now.

Works fine for me on FireFox (using Beta 5 now) but in IE7 it does refresh on mine too. Sometimes on IE7 I'll also end up (this is from when I used to use a work computer) I would have to go through the log in process twice in order to login completely. Then again IE7 is useless buggy crap.

I'd say 360 for the networking, serious gameplay, and HD experience, but Wii has some really fun games and the controller innovation kind of takes the lead here. I guess for my opinion really try and grab yourself the whole console market if you can. Good things on one console seem to just answer its downfalls and rival features on the next console. (This is one reason why I don't get into platform wars, PC vs. Console and Console vs. Console wars are pointless imo, because... to each their own.)

This time round AMD is trailing Intel heavily. Which is a huge shame. I'd really like AMD to come out with something magic. Don't know if this will happen though. They need to give Intel a kick up the ass like when the Athlon was released

Yeah when the Athlon was released AMD was running circles around Intel, Intel couldn't touch them. Then when the Dual Core race came out, AMD owned face in the beginning, but started to slip as Intel started to bring out better architecture. None the less, I will admit, I'm a big AMD fanboy, but right now they're kind of letting me down in their Quad-Core department by falling behind in core architecture design. Although I'm sure they have something big planned for the market that will answer Intel's current lead. (Hopefully).

Its wizzing me off, I have a few good well thought out reviews I'd like to post that I have actually already taken the time to write, proofread and edit.
