God of War and PS3 fans alike are geeked at the trailer of the latest installment of the series set to be released in March 2009 (according to most recent reports). With more than 6 months to go before the release, the YouTube hits alone on the trailers for the game have been extremely popular for the last few weeks.

"As you know, in fashion, one day you are in and one day you are out."
Any reality television junkie will recognize the line from Heidi Klum's Project Runway. For those who don't, no worries, you get the point. Well, according to the September issue of People's Style Watch, Girl Gamers are in, at least for now.

Given all the hype surrounding the new XBLA title, Braid, I had to see what it was all about and judge for myself whether it was warranted. So much like the other hoards of people, I downloaded the game (1200 points) and started in on my quest. After a day and a half of nearly non-stop play, I have beaten the game and can say with a certainty, I understand the hype.
About a week ago I heard all about this little game on Xbox Live Arcade and then few days ago, while doing some research, I ...

***SPOILER ALERT***
A bit obvious, at this point, that I am a HUGE movie-goer. It is my vice. I even spend the money to see the so-called kiddie movies. So yes, this summer I wanted to see how Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E would hold up next to the blockbusters that were released. I received a special request to give my honest opinions on Kung Fu Panda, so here you go.
Animated movies, especially the G or PG-rated tend do to very in the summer since parents can bring the children. This is g...

I am a gamer. I like games. That is my declaration. Sometimes, I like games that really don't get a great deal of attention. But much like movies, I am willing to try anything at least once. I have found many special little gems I find quite entertaining that I may not have otherwise even known about. These little diamonds in the rough can be old or new but the one thing they have in common is I gave them a shot despite not being uber popular and ended up liking them, or in some cases f...

In true Epic fashion, a 60 second trailer gives you just enough information to wait with bated breath for the sequel to the blockbuster hit but leaves you craving more. Gamers have a love affair with Gear of War 2 already. It is the equivalent to dating someone but they want to wait before taking to the next level. When that day comes will he deliver the goods or will you be making a booty call? I guess we will find out when we make our rendezvous in November.
Wanna see what I talking ab...

**SPOILER ALERT**
Ever go to a movie that feels like it would be a kick-ass video game (if it was done right, of course) because of the non-stop action that just above the line of reality story and special effects? I can’t say I had either until I saw Wanted. Not only was the beautiful Lara Croft, er, um, Angelina Jolie a bad ass assassin but her acrobatics in this movie put Tomb Raider to shame.
The movie has a story told many times before. Bored and pathetic young man finds out h...

Before I go into my first impressions of this hellacious game, let me state for the record that beginning a game that is easily a hundred hour game during a move cross country while living out of hotels was not in any way shape or form the smartest decision I have ever made. First, I had trouble finding time to play and I would have withdrawals because I wanted to see what was going to happen next. The game sucks you in like an addicting soap opera. Second, did you know some televisions in h...

Every once in a while I like something so much that I decide I want to immerse myself in it and tell the world. Last year it was the ECA; yes, I still love them and work with them as often as I can, and Pwned this year. This year is a new social network for gamers that is trying to take it to the next level. Given all the hype, I decided to give it a shot and sign up for beta testing.
So far, I am falling in love!
The site is HoopleDoople and so far I am having a blast. It is a great com...
