BLKCAT

Born and raised in Bronx, NY - Heather grew up collecting Marvel X-Men comics, collecting comic cards and drawing them in her spare time. In the beginning all she cared about was the artwork and trying to duplicate what she was looking at. Then Spidey entered her life though a best friend and she found Peter Parker's story very interesting. Heather identified with one of Spiderman's love intrests, The Black Cat, and decided to make the costume one Halloween. It was a match made in heaven. A few years later, she was introduced to comic conventions and her love affair with cosplay and comics was born. It didn't stop there. Soon she would be attending events from Star Wars to Star Trek and beyond.
JINXIE

Born in the Philippines, Jinx was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, by a family of gamers. With two older brothers with part time jobs, their house was always stocked with the latest in video games. Nowadays, Jinx's life is so busy she gets most of her gaming done of the go - thanks to her trusty Nintendo DS Lite stashed in her purse. Jinx was originally a Sega girl at heart and has owned every Sega system imaginable (minus the GameGear) up until Sega's demise following the Dreamcast. She's now opening her heart up to Nintendo. Her other favorite gaming genres include RPGs and music games. Apart from the gaming world, Jinx is an aspiring actress and model and a constant participant of pageants. When there is time or money available, she does enjoy a little cosplay here and there. You can even hear her shouting obscenities at you in Juiced 2 as Keiko!
MSNARU

Brittany first started cosplaying in 2003 and has not looked back since! Her passion for hosting fun events and cosplay finally came together when she became head of the SoCal Cosplay Gatherings group. Her favorite video game of all time is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and dreams of creating a costume for each one of the minor characters in that series. She tends to root for the little guy! Though she claims to be no master seamstress, she loves learning new ways to create costumes, weapons, props, and accessories. Her first video game was Super Mario Bros. and has recently become an addict for the entire Guitar Hero series, another game she cosplays from. She loves being a part of the cosplay community and sincerely feels it's one of the most creative outlets anyone could have!
CLARE

Clare is of a very competitive nature and is always found mixing it up with the boys. Since a very young age, Clare’s been dabbling in all sorts of male-dominated arenas that include everything from several martial arts, video games, and even gaining fame in the tournament paintball industry as one of the top female paintball players in the world. She grew up playing the NES with her mom and hasn’t stopped playing since. Clare’s favorite type of video games is first-person shooters and has even appeared as one of the main playable characters in a paintball video game. Aside for the love of gaming, she’s also big into the latest and greatest gadgets. If Clare had a larger bank account, she’d have a house full of gadgets that would rival that of Bill Gates himself.
RAYCHUL

Gaming has been my life for years. My first system was the Atari 2600, and that's where my first taste of game addiction began. The game was Pitfall...and I was hooked. After that it was NES onto SNES, and well, you know where the list goes from there. Unlike most gamers, I skipped the Sega systems and was a loyal Nintendo system owner until the Sega Dreamcast. I still own most of my classic game systems (the ones that actually work) and I am still gaming hardcore. Mostly I play Action/Adventure games (God of War, GTA, and Prince of Persia) and Survival Horror (Silent Hill, Resident Evil, And Fatal Frame). But I also love Racing (Midnight Club, Burnout), Shooters (Time Splitters, Doom, Gears of War), and very few RPG's (Champions of Norrath, Phantasy Star Online). I don't play sports games because I quickly realized I sucked at them, so I stopped trying. I also love to play online, b/c there is nothing better than sharing gameplay with a friend.
I not only work in the video game industry, but I also have an independent modeling career and I co-host a podcast with my best friend (www.SpikeandRaychul.com). I have been going to gaming conventions for about 3 years now. I have appeared in Electronic Gaming Monthly, the late Playstation Magazine, PC World, I covered E For All 2007 for GamePro and I also appeared in Penthouse for an article on gamer girls (no I wasn't naked). I am also a part of a group of gamers put together by Sony called the Game Advisory Panel, we beta test games and complete surveys on multiplayer options, game characters and game content. I love gaming, it's definitely an important part of my life, it makes me happy and why not love what makes you happy!
TRAYCEE

Traycee’s addiction to gaming began at the age of 4 when her father and brother introduced her to the Atari 5200; she dominated at Kangaroo. By the age of 9, Traycee had played/beaten so many games that she decided to create a list in order to keep track of them. While doing so, she came up with a scoring system that rated these games by fun factor, graphics, difficulty, end boss difficulty, story line, music, etc. Unfortunately at the age of 14, “the list” was lost during her move to Hawaii when her Navy father had received orders to be stationed there. While living the island lifestyle, a friend opened her eyes to the colorful world of anime/manga. She considers Battle Angel Alita her absolute favorite character; so much so that she tattooed her image on her left arm. Other than gaming and anime/manga collecting, she draws, is a SAG actress/model, and is involved with several charities. She currently attends UCLA, majoring in anthropology with an emphasis in archeology and a minor in drama.
VIRTUALGIRL

Meagan is a nerd of many faces. Ever since Lara Croft entered her life, she knew that video games had the ability to profoundly impact lives. Her love of video games, fostered by her two brothers, grew year by year until it became the passion that it is today. Lara Croft was not only important in her love for video games, but it was also her catalyst into the comic world. Seeing her first Tomb Raider comic cover hooked her to the world of comics. She is a huge fan of Top Cow comics, as well as and Aspen Comic titles. Despite loving newer and darker titles, the classics such as Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman still hold a place in her heart. Anime and Japanese culture are also budding interests for Meagan. Her love for video games, comics and anime naturally lead her to grow an interest in cosplay, which is her newest addiction. Meagan is a graphic designer with a minor in journalism, who holds video games and the video game culture in as high of a regard as oxygen.
