Hi2u, I'm Matthew Taylor and I'm from the north of the United Kingdom - where it's cold.

I'm pretty much a gamer through and through - I've been playing competitive RTS since the age of 13 (when I bought Warcraft III plus expansion, which I still play).

About a year back I picked up Command and Conquer 3 and went 108-5 on the EA ladder, (no disconnect abuse, of course,) making top 20 - and I at least like to think I had some recognition amongst the community. I quit in July, mainly because I was extremely bored of the game. I still play it every now and then, but not nearly as seriously as I used to.

I guess my claims to fame are that when I was playing seriously, I was a practice partner of the WCG 2007 champion, Apollo, and that I made the semis in the CAL Europe 1v1 CnC3 League (Season 1), as well as reaching as high as rank 3 on the ClanWars ladder (if any of you know what that means!) and frontpage on the EA ladder.

I've worked for the past year as a commentator for Warcraft III, something I hope to continue for the foreseeable future - and hopefully, in the end, at offline tournaments - if I'm not playing in them!

Despite being quite a good CnC3 player, I've never really "had it" when it came to Warcraft III, but I plan to pick up Starcraft II when that hits the shelves - hopefully at some point this year - and play that pretty seriously.

I'm also playing World of Warcraft - a bit less seriously than about 8 of the 10 million other users - I've just started my "character that I intend to continue", currently a Level 18 Blood Elf Mage on Bloodfeather EU, the same server as my brother (who basically worships the game).

I've also played Halo 3 (highest skill 39 TS) and Team Fortress 2 (mainly for fun) as well as Dawn of War.

I've got a Warcraft III montage/skillmovie/whatever you want to call it in production, the trailer's out and can be found on YouTube (search for "A Very Red Montage Trailer") and I'm working on getting the full thing done - I've got an editor on board and we're busy filming clips using GameCam at the moment, selecting music et cetera. Hopefully it'll be done sooner rather than later.
